  Rocky Mountain Insurance

  Rocky Mountain Insurance Services was established in 2001 as The Collins Agency. We provide insurance to individuals, families and businesses, and can serve all of your insurance needs. We are an independent insurance agency, meaning we work with many companies for auto, home, business, life, and most other types of insurance. We work with you to determine your individual needs, and find the insurance that best fits those needs for the best value available. We want to be your insurance partner for life -- we will review and shop your insurance as your needs change, saving you time and money. In January 2015, our name changed from The Collins Agency to Rocky Mountain Insurance Services. The name was the only thing that changed -- our goal continues to be to provide our clients with the best insurance products, outstanding value, and excellent customer service. We strive to be the only insurance agency you will ever want to work with. Our business was built and has grown on referrals from our clients. Should you like our service and refer a friend, relative, coworker or perfect stranger to our agency, please be sure to have them mention your name. In addition to sending you a scratch ticket as thanks, we will enter your name in a quarterly drawing for a $25 gift card. At the end of the year, we will have a drawing for a $100 gift card.   Melissa Boone

  Melissa is licensed in property, casualty, life and health insurance. She has been an insurance agent since 2001, and has been affiliated with The Ahbe Group (www.tagins.net) since 2002. Melissa started her agency in 2001, and became an independent agency in 2002. Prior to joining the insurance industry, Melissa spent several years in technical recruiting, project management, and network design and implementation. Melissa is a veteran, having served for seven years as an officer in the US Air Force. She earned her B.S. in Computer Science from Weber State University, and a M.A. in Political Science from the University of Central Oklahoma. Melissa has built her insurance agency with a strong focus on Customer Service, and has grown through referrals from existing clients. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys teaching fitness classes, crafting, jewelry making, and enjoying the outdoors. Family is very important to Melissa, and she enjoys spending time with her now-grown kids, and new granddaughter.

  Claire Counts

  Claire is licensed in property and casualty insurance. She has worked for Rocky Mountain Insurance services in several capacities over the past five years, and is now our personal lines insurance specialist. Claire's career history includes working as a claims adjuster, which gives her a unique perspective in an agency environment. Prior to returning to the workforce full time, Claire was a professional volunteer working as a docent at the Denver Art Museum, the treasurer for the Aurora Symphony Orchestra, and the local coordinator for the AARP Tax Aide program. She has her own tax practice geared towards individual tax filings, Action Tax LLC. In her free time, Claire likes to create something from nothing, hike or snowshoe, and watch baseball. She loves being mom to Sami the yellow lab, ZuZu the great pyrenees and Cookie the cat.
