As vice president, Matthew is responsible for the oversight of all sales, operations and project related activities for the Denver market. His primary objective is to aid in the cultivation of new business and driving profitability for the office. Matthew began his career in the restoration and construction industry more than 13 years ago. After graduating the University of Kansas in 2006 with degrees in communications and psychology, Matthew started a career as a catastrophe claims adjuster with a major insurance carrier where he spent 8 years developing estimating and construction knowledge. He joined BluSky in 2014 and was a project director in our Kansas City office until joining the Colorado Springs office as vice president in 2019. In that position, Matthew was responsible for successfully completing over 450 projects and $20,000,000 in sales and revenue. He was named vice president of BluSky’s Denver office in 2021. Matthew holds multiple certifications that are specific to the restoration industry, including ASD, WRT, HAAG Commercial, AIS, AINS, and he is working toward his RRO and CR designations. He also holds professional designations from the American Institute For Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (AICPCU). Matthew and his wife Sarah love the summers and hiking Colorado’s 14er’s.
